2nd Ancient Crafts Festival 2024
It is with pleasure that we share with you some moments of the 2nd Ancient Crafts Festival, which took place last weekend in Valle, from 07th to 09th June.
The program was opened by the choir of the Valais Pensioners' Association, who sang the Croatian, Istrian and Valais national anthems.
After the hymns, the mayor of Valle, Edi Pastrovicchio, and the organizers of the festival, Sanja Stojić and Dina Ivas, addressed the public. The program continued with the performance of our children from the Neven Rovinj kindergarten and the Tdv-Gii "Naridola" Rovinj-Rovigno and the folklore group of the Community of Italians Valle.
SEI Bernardo Benussi student, Noemi Palaziol, recited Viktoria Krajcar's poem “Wandering around the Cale de Vale” while at the end the prof. Milan Medak performed Danijel Načinović's Sonnet in Chakavian, all with a simultaneous demonstration of ancient crafts and pasta making.
The program with 40 exhibitors, with many workshops for children and adults, was also enriched by the performance of native Istrian music artists VEJA + SviVan.
It is a festival that has adapted perfectly to our small village and we are sure that it will see many future editions, with the aim of maintaining our culture and traditions.
