Itinerary description: this route allows us to visit the best landscapes of Usseglio. On our e-bikes, we will start from Piazzette, the first village of our beautiful plateau at 1265m. Then we will move to the other Usseglio’s villages through the old paths bordered by dry stone walls by local farmers. Along the way we can admire many monuments such as chapels, bread ovens and mills used by old inhabitants for their livelihood, noble villas, hotels in Liberty style, hydroelectric power plants, damns and, last but not least, the magnific parish complex consisting of the Old Church and the New one. We will ride along paths, little minor roads and the main road, sometimes closed to motor vehicles, up to the Lake of Malciaussia. There we could appreciate a true spectacle of nature: the Monte Rocciamelone, with its majesty, reflected in the crystalline waters. Then, you can do a beautiful walk on a very panoramic hiking trail to reach Lake Nero, a natural basin surrounded by green meadows. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the alpine environment with its flora, that is adapted to live in extreme conditions, and its fauna that you can spot with a bit of luck. Once we'll reach the lake we can relax a little bit before returning to our starting point. The duration of the excursion, including stops, will be around 2.30-3 hours.
